From 6 to 16 September, the Geothe Viet Nam Institute will bring the 8th edition of the German Film Festival to audiences in Ha Noi, Hai Phong, Hue, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City. The Da Nang event will take place from 9 to 16 September at the Le Do Cinema (46 Tran Phu Street).
The festival will showcase a series of exciting films of the German film industry, with the films comprised of: “24 weeks”, “Under sandet”, “Millennials”, “Tiger girl”, “The Lotzmann family at the barricades”, “Happy”, “Wild” and “Tschick”. They have attracted attention at various international film festivals and represent German contemporary cinema. Some are successful shooting on successful books, while others focus on hot topics. They refer to phenomena from the margins of society. The films will be screened in the original German language with Vietnamese and English subtitles.
All tickets will be free of charge and are available at the Le Do Cinema (46 Tran Phu Street) and the PHP & Cinema Centre Da Nang (68 Tran Phu Street) from 1 September.
