Construction of Cocobay Tourism and Entertainment Complex Begins
The Empire Group held a ceremony to begin the construction of Cocobay Tourism and Entertainment Complex on a 31-hectare site in Ngu Hanh Son District on 5 June. In attendance was Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee, Mr. Ho Ky Minh.

Inspired by Las Vegas, the famous resort city in the USA, the complex, which runs 600m along the coastline linking Da Nang and Hoi An, will include a series of entertainment and recreational centres, resort, condotels, an indoor theatre with a seating capacity of 1,200 people, an outdoor stage with 2,000 seats, a square for tourists and a Beach Club. The largest tourism square and the longest pedestrian street in Viet Nam will also form part of this complex.
The project will involve a total investment of nearly VND11 trillion (US$490.6 million) and its Stage 1 is scheduled to be put into operation in 2017.
