On the morning of July 13th, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee, Le Quang Nam, had a meeting with the high-level leadership delegation of Mitsubishi Corporation Vietnam Co., Ltd., led by Mr. Suzuki Hidetoshi, Chairman and CEO of Mitsubishi Corporation Vietnam, on the occasion of their visit in Da Nang during the 8th Vietnam-Japan Festival.

On the afternoon of July 13th, Mr. Ho Ky Minh - Deputy Standing Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee, met with the delegation of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA).

From July 12th to 23rd, at the area around the Dragon Bridge, the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Da Nang (JCCID) organized a lighting-art space with 500,000 LED lights. Thisis part of a series of activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.

On July 13th, the Da Nang People's Committee and the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) jointly organized a Tourism Workshop. This program is part of a series of activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan in 2023.

On the morning of June 26, Mr. Ho Ky Minh, Deputy Chairman of Da Nang People’s Committee hosted a meeting with Mr. Daniel Stork, Consul General of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City.

On June 25, the U.S. Navy Ships consisting of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), along with two guided-missile cruisers, the USS Antietam (CG 54) and the USS Robert Smalls (CG 62), arrived at Tien Sa Port of Da Nang, commencing a 5-day visit to Vietnam from June 25 to June 30, 2023.

On August 10th, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee, Tran Chi Cuong, chaired a meeting with the working delegation from the Cultural Exchange Association Japan - Vietnam. The delegation was led by Mr. Toyoharu Tsutsui, President of the Cultural Exchange Association Japan - Vietnam.

On the afternoon of August 9th, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee, Ho Ky Minh, had an online working session with the US-ASEAN Business Council to discuss the possibility of establishing cooperation between Da Nang and the Council through the signing of a memorandum of understanding. The working session was attended by representatives from businesses in Da Nang and the United States, including Boeing, Ford, Pfizer, UPS, and Coca Cola.

On August 10th, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee, Tran Chi Cuong, had a meeting with Mr. Bader Almatrooshi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Vietnam, during his visit in Da Nang.

In order to promote exchanges and enhance cooperation between the city of Da Nang and the special self-governing province of Jeju (South Korea), on the afternoon of August 4th, the People's Committee of Da Nang and the administration of the special self-governing province of Jeju held a working session and signed a memorandum of understanding to establish cooperation between the two sides in the fields of tourism, investment and trade, and agriculture and fisheries.

On the afternoon of August 8th, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee, Ho Ky Minh, presided over a reception for the Mayor of Mitsuke City (Japan), Inada Ryo, and the working delegation during their visit and work session in Da Nang.

On August 2nd, Mr. Le Trung Chinh - Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee, hosted a meeting with Ms. Seng Thao - Mayor of Oakland City (California, USA) and her delegation during their visit to Da Nang.
