The Ariyana Da Nang Exhibition & Convention Centre (ADECC) is under construction in preparation for the 2017 APEC Economic Leaders’ Week (AELW 2017) to be held in Da Nang in November 2017.

On 2 July 2016, Vingroup held a ceremony to start the construction of the Vinmec Da Nang International Hospital (Vinmec Da Nang) in Hai Chau District’s Hoa Cuong Bac Ward.  The hospital, one of the most important projects in preparation for the 2017 APEC Economic Leaders’ Week (AELW 2017) which will take place in the city in November 2017, is expected to be put into use in March 2017.

The VinaCapital Group and Oriental Sea Villas and Hotel Company Ltd have held a ceremony to begin the construction of the Oriental Sea Villas and Hotel Resort (Sheraton Da Nang Resort) in Ngu Hanh Son District’s Hoa Quy Ward.

2. Upgrading the city’s existing International Exhibition Fair Centre into an international convention centre

3. Upgrading the Thanh Nien (Youth) Park

On 18 March, the People’s Committee of Hai Chau District announced that the Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee Huynh Duc Tho has approved the detailed plan at 1/500 scale for the construction of the roal tunnel taking Tran Phu under its busy junction with Le Duan.

Da Nang International Airport will be upgraded to meet the 4E standards of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) by 2020, and it will continue to be used for both civil and military purposes.  The Airport will be able to handle up to 13 million passengers and 50,000 tonnes of cargo each year as well as accommodate 22 parking positions for aircrafts.
