South Korea-based Euro Arts would open a music education establishment in Da Nang in the near future. The proposal was made by Mr. Young Jun Lim, the President of Euro Arts, at his meeting with Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Nguyen Ngoc Tuan in the city on 6 February.
President Young Jun Lim said that ever since its foundation, Euro Arts has organised various international arts events, especially classical music. Since 1998, Euro Arts has been organising annually ‘Euro Music Festival and Academy’ (EMFA) in summer and winter. EMFA has reputation in the high level of the participants. Every edition, prominent young artists take part in the academy and many of them are the prize winner in major international competitions. EMFA has become one of the well-known international music festivals, with continuously increasing and developing.
Vice Chairman Nguyen Ngoc Tuan highly hailed the visit made by his guest for deepening the bilateral cooperative ties with his city, especially in culture. The city leader re-affirmed his city’s keen interest in conserving and promoting local distinctive traditional cultural and historical values. Hence, he vowed that favourable conditions would be created by the local authorities for Euro Arts to implement effectively cultural cooperation programmes in Da Nang in the coming time.
