Taste of Australia Da Nang Family BBQ 2018

To celebrate Taste of Australia 2018 in the central region of Viet Nam, the Australian Consulate-General will host the annual Taste of Australia Da Nang Family BBQ, a public outdoor community barbecue for the general public, Australians, Australian alumni and their families on Sunday 22 April from 12pm to 6pm at The Ocean Villas Da Nang, Truong Sa Street, Hoa Hai Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District.

The Australian Consul-General Ms. Karen Lanyon said “this year our family BBQ event will be bigger and better than ever as we are also celebrating the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Australia and Viet Nam.  Come along to enjoy delicious Australian foods, premium Aussie beer and wines and fantastic live entertainment, including Australian singer-songwriter Nick Barker. There’s also plenty of activities for the kids including a bouncy castle, slip and slide and cricket, and watch our Taste of Australia Ambassador Luke Nguyen and celebrity chef Ngo Thanh Hoa battle it out in an Aussie BBQ challenge!  Come along to enjoy a great family day out the Aussie way, and you could also win free nights at 5-star resorts, golf rounds and food and wine vouchers!”.

Entry fee for adults is VND200,000 including 4 food or beverage vouchers.  Entry for children from 6-16 is VND100,000 including 2 food or beverage vouchers.  Free of charge for children under 6 (no food or beverage vouchers included).  Tickets are on sale at The Hanged Man Bar, 55 An Thuong 2, My An; Pullman Da Nang Beach Resort, 101 Vo Nguyen Giap Street; William Angliss office, 8th floor, 33 Xo Viet Nghe Tinh; and Salt Pub, Cam An, Hoi An, Quang Nam Province.  Tickets are also available for purchase at the event on the day.

All profits will be donated to charity.
