Dr. Yukiko Hirai, CEO of the Selfwing Viet Nam Incubation Company, was presented a Certificate of Merit from the Da Nang’s People’s Committee Chairman in recognition of her contribution to the city’s socio-economic development in 2017.

Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh gave this certificate to Dr. Yukiko Hirai at his recently meeting with the Japanese businesswoman. This was the 2nd time Dr. Hirai had been honoured by the municipal PC Chairman.
On behalf of the city’s leader, Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh highly appreciated Dr. Hirai for her active involvement in appealing for more Japanese businesses to invest in Da Nang, especially in educational counselling services. The city leader said he hoped that Selfwing Viet Nam that would gain even more significant achievements on its bilateral educational cooperation with Da Nang this year. The Vice Chairman added that he would like Dr. Hirai to continue her efforts to appeal more potential enterprises from her country to invest in the city.
In reply, Dr Hirai expressed her delight at the city’s rapid growth over recent years, especially its success organisation of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week (AELW) last November which left a deep impression on domestic and international friends.
The Japanese businesswoman thanked the local authorities for facilitating her company to deploy its projects in the city. She noted that her company would continue enhancing the quality of education in the central region and highlands to increase the competitiveness of young people of Da Nang, and of Viet Nam as a whole, in the context of global integration.
