On 20 April, the Da Nang Department of Tourism cooperated with Hekate Technology Joint-Stock Company to officially launch a chatbot application called “Danang FantastiCity Chatbot”, the first of its kind in Viet Nam, following a six-month trial.
This application would help visitors search key information including attractions, things to do, events, accommodation, directions, Automatic Teller Machines (ATM), public rest-stops, necessary hotlines, weather forecasts, and other Good-to-know information.
The chatbot is attached to the Danang FantasiCity Facebook’s fanpage and is compatible with smart phones using Android and IOS operating systems with Internet connection.
Since its trial operation in English and Vietnamese in last November, the chatbot has received positive feedback from tourists from 12 countries and territories worldwide in total.
