This will be the 11th air route to Japan operated by the Vietnam Airlines after those from Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang to Japanese cities of Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Fukuoka.

The airline will use a Airbus A321 with services meeting 4-star standards with flights taking around four and a half-hours; and the non-stop flights will depart from Da Nang at 00.20am, and from Osaka at 09.30am local time.

To celebrate the new flight, the airline is launching a ticket promotion programme.  Accordingly, from now until 30 September, the airline is offering fares only from 5,899,000 VND (approximately 249 USD) for Osaka-Da Nang flights between 28 October and 31 December 2018.

In addition, from 28 October to 31 January 2019, Vietnam Airlines’ Golden Lotus members will be awarded an additional 2,000 air miles on Business Class and 1,000 to 1,500 miles for economy class between Da Nang and Osaka.
