The Department of Tourism said that on Hung Kings’ Festival, the number of visitors to Da Nang City reached nearly 78,000, of which the number of visitors on international and domestic routes was estimated at 38,979 with 262 flights from Singapore, Thailand, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, etc. Room capacity of 4-5 star hotels reached 50-60% and coastal ones reached 70-90%.
Of special note, the number of visitors to tourist destinations rose quickly to about 55,370 arrivals. Some destinations had large amounts of visitors such as: Sun World Ba Na Hills with about 18,500 tourists, Nui Than Tai Hot Springs Park with about 9,000, Mikazuki with about 4,000, and Marble Mountains with about 4,500.
On this occasion, the city organized many interesting activities and events, including the first ferry from Da Nang to Ly Son on April 9, 2022 with nearly 400 visitors, the first “Da Nang - The City of the Future” electronic music night on the banks of the Han River, 2022 Hai Chau Village Communal House Festival, and the exhibition “Reunion” at the Fine Arts Museum from March 29 to April 25, 2022 on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Da Nang City. Along with that, Dragon Bridge breathed fire and water on weekend evenings, cultural and artistic activities on both sides of the Han River, and Son Tra Night Market activities.
Currently, Da Nang continues to offer free tickets to visit the Marble Mountains, Da Nang Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, and Museum of Cham Sculpture; and discount tickets to visit, stay, and use services at tourist attractions during April 2022.
