In order to promote the potential, advantages, and investment opportunities of Da Nang City to domestic and foreign businesses, investors, and international organizations who are interested in choosing and deciding on investment and to take advantage of attracting domestic and foreign investment resources, especially foreign direct investment (FDI), in the context of the economy reopening after a long period of being impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic, on the afternoon of June 25th, the City’s Party Committee - People’s Committee held the Da Nang Investment Forum 2022 with the attendance of nearly 600 delegates and more than 300 online participants.
The Forum was attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son, representatives of leaders of ministries and branches, representatives of leaders of Quang Nam and Quang Ngai provinces, diplomatic agencies, and more than 600 domestic and foreign investors. On Da Nang City’s side were Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City’s Party Committee, Nguyen Van Quang; Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City’s Party Committee, Chairman of the City’s People’s Council Luong Nguyen Minh Triet; Deputy Secretary of the City’s Party Committee, Chairman of the City’s People’s Committee Le Trung Chinh.
Accordingly, with the 2022 theme of “the year of safe and flexible adaptation, effective pandemic control, and socio-economic recovery and development”, in the first 6 months of 2022, all business, investment, trade, tourism, cultural, and sports activities have returned to the new normal, Da Nang is one of the localities with a fairly rapid economic recovery, gradually regaining growth momentum.

At the same time, at the Forum, there were activities to grant Investment Registration Certificates, Decisions to approve the investment policy, investment research policies, approvals of project investment research, and investment cooperation agreements for 27 domestic and foreign projects and award 11 businesses and organizations that have made positive contributions to the city’s investment promotion activities.
In addition, the exhibition on the functional zoning planning according to Da Nang City’s General Planning Adjustment to 2030, with vision to 2045 and the city’s key projects calling for investment was held at three venues: Sheraton Grand Danang Resort, Da Nang Administrative Center, and APEC Park.
