On December 1st Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the City Party Committee, visited and congratulated the Consulate General of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Da Nang on the 47th anniversary of the National Day of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (December 2, 1975 - December 2, 2022) and the 112th birthday of Former President Kaysone Phomvihan (December 13, 1920 - December 13, 2022). He was accompanied by Mr. Ho Ky Minh - Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi - Vice Chairman of the City People's Council, and Mr. Duong Dinh Lieu - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang.
On behalf of the Party Committee, government, and people of the City, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang congratulated all officers and staff of the Lao Consulate in Da Nang. At the same time, he expressed his belief that the officers and staff of the Lao Consulate would fulfill their duties and make positive contributions to the development of relations between Viet Nam and Laos in general and between Da Nang and localities of Laos in particular.
Secretary Nguyen Van Quang affirmed that Da Nang will continue to promote and strengthen the deep and close ties with localities of Laos and contribute to consolidating and developing the Viet Nam - Laos special friendship.

Appreciating the support and attention of the Party Committee, government, and people of the City, Mr. Souphanh Hadaoheuang - Consul General of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Da Nang expressed gratitude to the City's leaders for creating the best conditions for the Laotian community living and working locally.
The Consul General believed that with the precious support for each other throughout history, the two Parties and States in general and the localities of Laos and Da Nang in particular would continue to cooperate closely and contribute to fostering the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Viet Nam.
