At the meeting, Vice Chairman Tran Phuoc Son thanked the delegation from Sekong Province for visiting. He wished the delegation a successful visit to Da Nang.

Vice Chairman Tran Phuoc Son expressed his excitement that the friendly and cooperative relationship between Da Nang and Sekong, as well as other provinces of South-Central Laos, had made much progress in various fields. The two sides have developed effective cooperation in a number of fields consolidating and enhancing the traditional friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Viet Nam and Laos, and between Da Nang and the southern provinces of Laos.

Vice Chairman Tran Phuoc Son hoped that in 2023 the two localities would continue to strengthen cooperation in various fields and organize meetings to exchange experiences. In the future, Da Nang will continue to support the development of Sekong Province thereby tightening the special, traditional relationship between the two parties and two states.

Appreciating the respectful welcome from the City's leaders, Deputy Secretary and Chairman of the Sekong Provincial People's Council Dong Phet Phanhon congratulated Da Nang on its socioeconomic achievements in the past. He thanked the city leaders for supporting Sekong Province, in particular helping students from Sekong Province to study in Da Nang.

On the occasion of the 2023 Lunar New Year, Deputy Secretary and Chairman of the Sekong Provincial People's Council Dong Phet Phanhon wished the Party Committee, government, and people of Da Nang a happy new year with many new victories. At the same time, he trusted that Da Nang and Sekong would continue to reap more results in all fields of cooperation and friendship, especially in the near future.
