On March 27, the city delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Van Quang - Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of Da Nang Party Committee visited Metran Group in Saitama Province, Japan. Receiving the Delegation were Metran Group's Chairman Tran Ngoc Phuc, Director of METRAN - TMDU Research and Development Institute Ho Minh Van, and General Director of Metran Corporation Dan Nitta.
Mr. Ho Minh Van briefed the delegation on the achievements of Metran Group Chairman Tran Ngoc Phuc in inventing ventilators for infants as well as Metran Group's formation and development history.
Metran Japan is a corporation manufacturing high-tech medical equipment with more than 40 years of experience. The Group's main products include ventilators for infants and sleep apnea machines, in addition to ventilators for patients with chronic obstructive kidney stones. These machines are used in more than 90% of pediatric centers in Japan and in many countries around the world. The group has 3 companies in the US, 1 company in Korea, and 1 company in Europe.

In Viet Nam, Metran Group was licensed to invest in Metran Vitec Co., Ltd. in Binh Duong Province in 2013. Metran received Emperor Akihito on his visit to Viet Nam in 2012 due to its many contributions to reducing mortality in preterm infants.
Mr. Tran Ngoc Phuc shared that Metran is currently researching producing ventilators in Da Nang Hi-Tech Park with funding from the Japanese Government to serve the domestic market and for export. In 2022, Metran surveyed investment opportunities in Da Nang.
Secretary Nguyen Van Quang expressed his hope that Mr. Tran Ngoc Phuc and Metran Group would continue to research new inventions and create suitable products for the Vietnamese market.
