The globally renowned culinary collection of the Michelin Guide will officially set foot in the third city in Vietnam, Da Nang, with the accompaniment of the "destination partner" - Sun Group. The journey to discover hidden culinary gems in the coastal city of Central Vietnam promises to open a new chapter for Vietnamese cuisine in particular and Vietnamese tourism in general.

The discreet inspectors, renowned for their expertise and discerning palates, have expedited their exploration across Da Nang to seek out exceptional culinary destinations. Through incognito visits and meticulous assessments, the inspectors ensure that only the finest culinary experiences earn recognition and acclaim in the upcoming Michelin list for Da Nang.

Da Nang boasts a culinary heritage of longstanding tradition, where each dish exudes rustic charm yet embodies refined flavors. Highlights include savory pancakes, Quang noodles, rolled pork rice paper, fish cake noodles, fermented fish noodles, crab porridge, “waiting” porridge, Nam O raw fish salad, and Tuy Loan rice paper rolls.

According to Michelin Guide's sharing, anonymous inspectors were impressed by Da Nang's rich culinary heritage. The inspectors thoroughly enjoyed the experience of sitting in small eateries or street food stalls to savor delicious local dishes.

In addition to the remarkable street food experience, Da Nang's upscale culinary scene entices with its diversity and mastery of cooking techniques, both from local culinary artisans and international chefs. A significant contribution to Michelin's venture into Da Nang is the collaboration with Sun Group as the destination partner. In June 2024, Michelin Guide will officially announce the selection of the first restaurants in Da Nang, along with the the new lists for Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
