Hoa Cuong Ward announces operation of digital government system
On June 24, the Hoa Cuong Ward People's Committee announced the operational deployment of its "Digital Government System".
According to Mr. Truong Thanh Dung, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee, the system was built as a digital operations center, centralizing data across various fields that were previously stored separately across different departments.
All information is integrated on a shared platform and converted into tools serving three primary user groups: ward leaders, cadres and civil servants, and citizens/businesses. Organizing under a "shared platform" model marks a fundamental shift from previous manual and fragmented working methods, bringing practical value to governance, management, and public service.
The digital government system enables leaders to track operational metrics in real time; helps cadres handle tasks digitally, reduce data duplication, and shorten processing times; and facilitates citizen access through infrastructure GIS mapping, field-feedback intake, and virtual assistant guidance for administrative procedures.
Another highlight is the system’s connection and data sharing with the city's shared systems and specialized databases, ensuring seamless data flow, reducing repetitive data entry, and maintaining a unified, accurate data source. This requirement is crucial for grassroots government to participate effectively in the city's and nation's broader data ecosystem.
Hoa Cuong Ward's initial results will provide an important practical foundation for the city to continue researching, refining, and scaling suitable models to other localities. Implementation must keep citizens and businesses at the center of digital transformation, aiming to reduce task processing times while raising transparency and public satisfaction.
