According to Vice Chairman Ho Quang Buu, Hamyang District and the former Nam Tra My District have had a close relationship. The two localities have signed a cooperation agreement on sending and receiving seasonal workers to work in South Korea, achieving many positive results.

He emphasized that after implementing the two-level local government, the Da Nang City People's Committee will inherit the cooperation agreement that the former Nam Tra My District signed with Hamyang District.

The city is also considering assigning Nam Tra My commune to take the lead in continuing to connect and implement cooperation activities with Hamyang District. For the seasonal labor program, the city will consider assigning the city's competent authorities to directly manage and guide Nam Tra My commune to effectively implement this programme.

Vice Chairman Ho Quang Buu expressed his hope that with the potential of the new Da Nang city, Hamyang District would continue to strengthen business connections and promote cooperation in economy, trade, and tourism, especially in the development of ginseng, a rare and precious medicinal plant that both localities have.
