Strengthening the Friendly Relations Between Vietnam and the Russian Federation
On the afternoon of May 12th, Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi presided over a reception for Colonel Anciferov Alexey Vitalievich, Commander of the ship detachment of the Pacific Fleet, Russian Navy, who paid a courtesy visit to the city leaders.
At the reception, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Anh Thi welcomed the commander, officers, and sailors of the ship detachment to visit Da Nang. She also extended congratulations to the officers, crew, and people of Russia on the occasion of Russia's commemoration of the 80th anniversary of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War (May 9, 1945).
Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Anh Thi emphasized that this visit by the commander, officers, and sailors of the ship detachment contributes to strengthening the friendly, traditional, and mutually trusting relationship, and promotes the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.
In the future, Da Nang is ready to act as a bridge, creating favorable conditions for the naval forces of both sides to continue expanding cooperation, training activities, and experience sharing to contribute to ensuring freedom of navigation, maritime security, and safety at sea.
Colonel Anciferov Alexey Vitalievich expressed his deep gratitude to the city leaders and departments for creating favorable conditions for the visit to proceed smoothly.
The Colonel shared that the commanders, officers, and sailors were very impressed by the development and beautiful scenery of Da Nang city.
