Promoting Cooperation in Green Technology and Semiconductor Chips with Chemnitz (Germany)
On the morning of March 30, during the Da Nang – Chemnitz Government-to-Business Meeting, the two localities exchanged and discussed cooperation opportunities in high technology, semiconductor technology, artificial intelligence, and sustainable development.
The Mayor of Chemnitz, Sven Schulze, spoke highly of Da Nang's development potential. He noted that the two localities share many similarities, creating a favorable foundation for promoting cooperation and attracting investment in the near future.
On behalf of Da Nang, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Quang Buu committed to further improving the investment environment. He pledged to create favorable conditions for German enterprises to implement long-term cooperation, contributing to elevating the relationship between the two localities.
Da Nang city leadership expressed a desire for the two localities to enhance their partnership in several key areas, including vocational training and encouraging Chemnitz businesses to transfer solutions regarding smart cities, IoT, Robotics, semiconductor chips, artificial intelligence, and green technology to Da Nang. Additionally, Chemnitz will create favorable conditions for Da Nang's software enterprises to participate in the Information Technology service supply chains of major corporations in Chemnitz.

<p style="text-align: justify;;line-height:30px">This season marks the first time Vietnam will host a full-distance VNG IRONMAN, while also celebrating the 10th season of VNG IRONMAN 70.3 Danang. The event opened on May 10 at East Sea Park.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;;line-height:30px">Athletes will conquer the coastal routes of Danang in a triathlon. For VNG IRONMAN 70.3, the distances include a 1.9 km swim, a 90 km bike ride, and a 21.1 km run; for the full-distance IRONMAN, the competitions consist of a 3.8 km swim, a 180 km bike ride, and a 42.2 km run.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;;line-height:30px">The competition included 15 events split between the beach at East Sea Park (An Hai Ward) and the high-performance swimming pool (Hoa Cuong Ward).</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;;line-height:30px">At the beach, there are 9 events such as: beach sprints, relay swimming, team surf paddling, rescue tube rescues, rescue board relays, flag grabbing, and coracle racing... Meanwhile, 6 events at the pool focus on specialized skills such as: cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), victim towing relays, 10m line throws, line throw relays, and 50m victim carries...</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;;line-height:30px">The "AI Tells Birdsong Stories" model has been deployed through listening stations in natural ecosystems like the Dam River and Cua Garden (Southern Da Nang).</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;;line-height:30px">The AI system will record sounds, identify bird species, and provide information regarding their characteristics, behaviors, and habitats, helping residents and tourists gain a deeper understanding of the natural world.</p>

Not only leaving an artistic impression, DIFF 2026 continues to serve as a driving force for the growth of tourism in Danang.</p>
