Da Nang Hosts Foreigners' Football Cup 2016
The Da Nang Foreigners' Football Cup (DFF Cup) 2016 took place at the Tuyen Son Sports Complex from 23 to 24 July following the success of the DFF Cup last year. The event was hosted by the Da Nang Department of Foreign Affairs (DOFA) and the Da Nang Association of Friendship Organisations (DAFO).
In attendance were 8 teams representing the Lao, Korean and French communities in Da Nang, DOFA, DAFO, Sacombank Da Nang, along with the U.S. and Japanese navy forces of the Pacific Partnership 2016.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Mr. Lam Quang Minh, DOFA’s Director, stressed that DFF Cup 2016 would strengthen sports exchange and create a good opportunity for foreigners who are living, working and studying in Da Nang to meet each other as well as intensify the friendship between Da Nang and foreigner’s communities in the city.
