* Functions
- Advise and assist the Da Nang People’s Committee in performing the functions of State management in the fields of construction, architecture, construction planning, urban technical infrastructure, industrial parks, export processing zones, economic zones, hi-tech parks (including water supply, drainage, sewage treatment, lighting, parks, cemeteries, solid waste in urban areas, industrial zones, export processing zones, economic zones and hi-tech parks); urban development, housing and offices; real estate business; building materials; administrative public services subject to the management of the Department of Construction; as well as conducting other duties and rights authorised by the city’s People’s Committee or as prescribed by law.
