Far Eastern Air Transport to bring Taiwan tourists to Da Nang
The Taiwan-based airline Far Eastern Air Transport will bring visitors from this territory to Da Nang on one charter flight every five days, starting from 14 December. Vitours Tourism Company will offer services to these tourists. The news was announced recently by Mr Tran Chi Cuong, Vice Director of the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
“Taiwan is part of the Chinese-speaking market which is being strongly promoted by the city’s tourism sector. However, there have not been many Taiwanese tourists to Da Nang so far, and most of them visit the city in the last season of the year”, said Mr Cuong.
He added that Da Nang and the General Department of Tourism of Viet Nam recently met with their partners in Taiwan to introduce the city’s tourism images.
In addition, the city will cooperate with the provinces of Quang Nam and Thua Thien–Hue to implement a tourism publicity programme, entitled “Three localities - One destination” in China’s Shanghai in the middle of December this year.
