Two New Direct International Flights from Kazakhstan and Myanmar to Da Nang
At noon on April 2, the first direct flight from Almaty (Kazakhstan), flight number VJ52 operated by an A330/300 aircraft, landed at Da Nang International Airport with nearly 300 passengers arriving to explore and experience the city’s tourism services.
The launch of the Almaty (Kazakhstan) – Da Nang route marks an important milestone in connecting Da Nang tourism with the Kazakh market specifically and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in general, contributing to attracting tourists from this promising new market to Da Nang.
According to the plan, travel agencies will operate flights from Kazakhstan to Da Nang with a frequency of 4 flights per week from April to October 2025. These include 2 weekly flights from Almaty to Da Nang on Tuesdays and Fridays, and 2 from Astana to Da Nang on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Also, on the evening of April 2, Da Nang International Airport welcomed the first flight of Myanmar Airways International to Da Nang, bringing nearly 120 passengers to explore and enjoy the beautiful seaside city.
The Yangon – Da Nang route, operated by Myanmar Airways International, will have 2 weekly flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays, using the Embraer E190-6J92Y-1 aircraft.
The addition of this new route from Yangon (Myanmar) to Da Nang marks the 8th out of 10 Southeast Asian countries with direct flights to Da Nang, including Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, and Myanmar. This brings the total number of regular international air routes to Da Nang to 16.
