The annual event will give students and their parents the opportunity to meet representatives from about 90 accredited US universities and colleges, and to gain information about the education system there, the courses they are offering, application procedures, entry examinations, and the scholarships available.

According to IIE’s Open Doors 2011, their annual report on international academic mobility, Viet Nam ranked eighth for students at all institutions and second for students at community colleges in the USA, the highest of all ASEAN countries.  The number of Vietnamese students attending US institutions in the academic year 2011-2012 was more than 15,500.  

According to the World’s Top University List, the US still dominate the rankings with 50 in the list of Top 200 universities worldwide.
