Music concert to mark Viet Nam–RoK friendly relationship
A music concert, entitled “We are Friends: Music of the Heart”, was held at the Trung Vuong Theatre recently to mark the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties (22 December 1992 – 22 December 2012) between Viet Nam and the Republic of Korea (RoK). The event was jointly held by the Da Nang People’s Committee and the Korean Cultural Centre in Viet Nam.
The city’s residents had an opportunity to enjoy performances by Korean and Vietnamese artists including violonist J.Mi (RoK), tenor Park Seung Min (RoK) and his Vietnamese wife, pianist Trang Trinh, Vietnamese singers Thanh Duy and Phuong Vy, and Vietnamese music bands St319, Tuxedo & Ao dai, and Twins.
Mr Park Nark Jong, the director of the Korean Cultural Centre in Viet Nam, said he hoped that the event would contribute to tightening the friendship between Viet Nam and the Republic of Korea.
Da Nang has established friendly and cooperative relationships with such Korean localities as Daegu, Hwaseong and Masan.
