On the morning of July 13th, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee, Le Quang Nam, had a meeting with the high-level leadership delegation of Mitsubishi Corporation Vietnam Co., Ltd., led by Mr. Suzuki Hidetoshi, Chairman and CEO of Mitsubishi Corporation Vietnam, on the occasion of their visit in Da Nang during the 8th Vietnam-Japan Festival.

On the afternoon of July 13th, Mr. Ho Ky Minh - Deputy Standing Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee, met with the delegation of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA).

From July 12th to 23rd, at the area around the Dragon Bridge, the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Da Nang (JCCID) organized a lighting-art space with 500,000 LED lights. Thisis part of a series of activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.

On July 13th, the Da Nang People's Committee and the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) jointly organized a Tourism Workshop. This program is part of a series of activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan in 2023.

On the morning of June 26, Mr. Ho Ky Minh, Deputy Chairman of Da Nang People’s Committee hosted a meeting with Mr. Daniel Stork, Consul General of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City.

On June 25, the U.S. Navy Ships consisting of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), along with two guided-missile cruisers, the USS Antietam (CG 54) and the USS Robert Smalls (CG 62), arrived at Tien Sa Port of Da Nang, commencing a 5-day visit to Vietnam from June 25 to June 30, 2023.

On April 10, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Central Party Committee member, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, Head of the Delegation of City National Assembly Delegates visited and congratulated the leaders and staff of the Consulate General of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Da Nang on the occasion of the Bunpimay New Year 2567 (according to the Lao calendar). Accompanying Mr. Quang were Deputy Chairman of the Municipal People's Council Tran Phuoc Son and Deputy Chairman of the Municipal People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong.

On the afternoon of April 11th, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, hosted a reception for the delegation of the Vendemiaire frigate (French Navy) commanded by Lieutenant Commander Sebastien Drouelle.

Following Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang will be the third city to be awarded the "Michelin Hope Star" by the Michelin Guide, in partnership with Sun Group.

On the morning of April 11th, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the city, chaired a reception for the diplomatic delegation of the European Union (EU) member countries in Vietnam.

As part of Minister of Planning and Investment, Mr. Nguyen Chi Dung's delegation to China, Da Nang's municipal delegation, led by Deputy Chairman Tran Phuoc Son, engaged in key activities from March 27 to March 30, 2024.

As part of Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung's official visit to China, from March 29th to April 1st, a delegation from Da Nang, led by Vice Chairman of the People's Council Tran Phuoc Son, engaged in discussions in Shanghai and Hainan. Their aim was to gain insights into international practices for establishing and developing free trade zones.
