Open Paintball Competition 2012 in Da Nang
The Da Nang People’s Committee has given approval for the MDQ Joint-Stock Company to organise the Da Nang Open Paintball Competition 2012 at the Da Nang Paintball Club (7 Duy Tan Street, Hai Chau District) on 13 and 14 October. Thirty-two teams are expected to participate in the event.
Paintball is an entertainment activity which simulates traditional fights, and players compete to eliminate opponents by tagging them with capsules containing water soluble dye in a gelatin shell (referred to as paintballs) shot from a paintball gun.
With a near 30-year history, paintball is now present in 110 countries all over the world, and has more than 20 million players. This recreational sport first arrived in Da Nang in July this year.
