InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort voted Asia’s Leading New Resort 2013
The InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort has won the titles “Asia’s Leading New Resort 2013” and “Viet Nam’s Leading Resort 2013” in the World Travel Awards. The awarding ceremony was held recently in Dubai.

The city’s resort defeated such big rivals as Anantara Sanya Resort & Spa (China), Kempinski Hotel Haitang Bay Sanya (China), Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort (Indonesia), Indonesia’s The Mulia Resort & Villas (Bali, Indonesia), and W Singapore (Sentosa Island, Singapore) to receive these notable awards.

“To be recognised in this year's awards is a result of the thoughtful and understated service and authentic local experiences we deliver to our guests every day as well as the fantastic vision from our owners who built an impressive resort in Da Nang, Viet Nam.  We look forward to bringing even more awards to such an iconic property in the making.” said Mr Arnaud Girodon, General Manager, InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort.

The WTA were launched in 1993 to acknowledge excellence in the travel and tourism industry and are now in their 20th year. Heralded as the ‘travel industry's equivalent to the Oscar's’ by The Wall Street Journal, the awards are decided based on votes by the public and travel professionals worldwide.
