Routes Asia 2022 do Informa Routes chủ trì với sự đồng hành của UBND Thành phố Đà Nẵng và Công ty Cổ phần Thương mại Duy Anh - IPP Travel Retail. Sự kiện được tổ chức với sự tham gia của hơn 500 đại biểu đến từ các hãng hàng không Châu Á, Châu Âu, Trung Đông, Bắc Mỹ; cảng hàng không và nhà khai thác sân bay; các nhà cung cấp dịch vụ hàng không và các hãng lữ hành quốc tế từ Châu Á và các nước trên thế giới.

Ngày 11/10/2021 tại Milan (Ý), trong khuôn khổ World Routes, Đà Nẵng - Việt Nam được công bố là thành phố đăng cai chính thức của Routes Asia 2022, đánh dấu một cột mốc quan trọng cho sự phục hồi của ngành hàng không và du lịch.

Taking place within the framework of the Routes Asia 2022, there are 19 main and events: Asia Tourism and Aviation Exhibition 2022, approximately 50 booths from 110 international airlines, 200 airports, 30 travel agencies, of which, 60% are from Asia and 40% from Europe, North America, the Middle East, and other regions; Destination survey programs connecting with international airlines to visit and survey the aviation service infrastructure and outstanding tourist destinations of Da Nang; “Da Nang: Potential Destination of Asia” Forum promoting Da Nang’s potential and environment of investment, trade, and tourism.

Mr. Thomas Atkinson, Senior Business Development manager of Informa Routes, Manchester, the UK shared: “The forum is the only route development event for the region, and plays an important role in resuming air services around the world. Da Nang has the potential to become an integral part of global manufacturing and supply chains, and an economic, innovation, transport, financial, and cultural hub in the next decade. We look forward to working with the experienced team in Da Nang to deliver outstanding events that will benefit the entire region in the long run.”

At the meeting, Vice Chairman Tran Phuoc Son emphasized that the hosting of Routes Asia 2022 will help Da Nang discuss cooperation and development opportunities in the fields of aviation and logistics with many airlines, airports, tourism firms and businesses in the region and around the world.

The event creates an opportunity for Da Nang to introduce potentials, economic projects, tourist attractions, cultural values, and its citizens to the delegations attending the event; thereby, introducing the destination’s charm and development potential to senior leaders of airlines around the world, creating opportunities to develop new potential routes in the future.

“We are committed to accompanying Informa Routes, taking care of timely direction and fully facilitating the successful organization of the event. At the same time, I also recommend Duy Anh Trading JSC (IPP) to thoughtfully organize all activities and connect the most prestigious airlines for brainstorming aviation operation development ideas in the city.”

The Vice Chairman also requested the Police Department of the City to have a plan to ensure the security and safety of delegates at the event’s venues and in the city. The Department of Health will support handling if delegates are infected with Covid-19 when taking part in the event, arrange PCR test points for delegates to get certification before returning home according to regulations.

Về Cảng hàng không quốc tế Đà Nẵng, Công ty cổ phần Đầu tư khai thác nhà ga quốc tế Đà Nẵng sẽ phối hợp với Công an cảng hàng không nghiên cứu bố trí khu vực làm thủ tục xuất nhập cảnh và khai báo y tế riêng cho các đại biểu tham dự sự kiện. Sở Du lịch sẽ phối hợp chặt chẽ với Informa và IPP để lựa chọn và cập nhật danh sách các đại biểu quốc tế là các hãng hàng không tiềm năng có khả năng mở đường bay đến Đà Nẵng trong thời gian tới, phối hợp với Cục Xúc tiến đầu tư Đà Nẵng tổ chức “ Đà Nẵng: Điểm đến tiềm năng của Châu Á ”.
