On the morning of March 5th, in Hanoi, the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam organized a signing ceremony for sponsorship contracts for 8 projects nationwide. Among them is the construction project of classrooms at Phu Tuc school site, Hoa Phu Kindergarten (Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city).

These projects are sponsored through the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) program of the Japanese Government.

The construction project for classrooms at Phu Tuc school site, Hoa Phu Kindergarten, Hoa Vang district, is coordinated by the Department of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the People's Committee of Hoa Vang district, and it has been agreed to be sponsored by the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam with a budget of over 1.3 billion VND (equivalent to 58,065 USD).

The project helps children in Phu Tuc village, Hoa Phu commune, to have a school that ensures safer and more conducive learning conditions, contributing to improving the quality of care and education for children, especially for ethnic minority children in the area. It also serves as a shelter for local residents to evacuate during floods, coping promptly with the impacts caused by climate change in the area.

This is the third project in Da Nang sponsored by the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam under the GGP program. Previously, the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam has sponsored 2 projects, including: the sample boarding kitchen project at Ngo Gia Tu Elementary School (in 2019) and the purchase of patient monitoring equipment for Da Nang Hospital (in 2023).
