Helmet Distribution Initiative for Central Vietnam's First Graders in Academic Year 2024 – 2025

On November 4, the National Traffic Safety Committee, Ministry of Education and Training, and Honda Vietnam launched a helmet distribution program for first-grade students in Central Vietnam on November 4 at Tieu La Primary School, Son Tra District.

For the 2024-2025 academic year, over 1.7 million helmets will be distributed nationwide, combined with traffic safety training for parents, bringing the total to nearly 10.3 million since the program's inception. 


The National Traffic Safety Committee, Ministry of Education and Training, and Honda Vietnam Company jointly organize the launch of helmet donations for first grade students in the Central region for the 2024-2025 school year

The program aims to form the habit of wearing helmets among motorcycle users in Vietnam, thereby increasing the rate of wearing standard helmets to 100%; Raise awareness about traffic safety for students and parents through training and communication activities; Coordinate with the Government to strengthen patrol, control, and strictly handle violations related to the production, trading, and use of helmets that do not meet national technical standards in provinces/cities.
