As part of the working visit to Japan, on the morning of November 12, a delegation led by Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Le Quang Nam visited and worked with Yokohama City (Japan).

During the meeting, Vice Chairman Le Quang Nam stated that Da Nang currently has some areas developing underground spaces (airport urban area, Lien Chieu port), and the city is planning to relocate Da Nang railway station.

Since 2023, the two cities have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on technical cooperation towards sustainable urban development. In this cooperative relationship, Da Nang City has the opportunity to access Yokohama City's valuable experiences in developing and solving urban issues, while Yokohama City also gains access to long-term cooperation opportunities, playing a connecting role and supporting Japanese businesses to invest effectively.

During this trip, Vice Chairman Le Quang Nam expressed his hope that Yokohama City would share experiences for Da Nang to learn from and implement plans in the coming time.
