On the morning of November 14, Central Committee Member and Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang hosted a reception for Kanagawa Prefecture Governor Kuroiwa Yuji during his visit to Da Nang. Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh also attended.

During the meeting, Secretary Nguyen Van Quang provided an overview of Da Nang's socio-economic development, potential, and future development directions. He also mentioned that the Vietnamese National Assembly issued Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 on urban government organization and piloting special mechanisms and policies for Da Nang's development. These mechanisms lay the foundation for Da Nang's rapid, sustainable, and long-term growth.
Secretary Nguyen Van Quang suggested that both localities strengthen delegation exchanges at all levels, cultural exchanges, and especially cooperation in high-quality human resource exchange.
On this occasion, the City Party Secretary extended an invitation to Kanagawa Prefecture leaders to attend the Friendly Cooperative Cities Forum - Da Nang 2025, scheduled for January 2025.
Governor Kuroiwa Yuji thanked the city leaders for their warm reception and expressed his hope that the two localities would continue to develop closer relations in the future.
The Kanagawa Governor appreciated Da Nang's support and facilitation in organizing the Kanagawa Festival 2024. Mr. Kuroiwa Yuji pledged to promote Da Nang's image and investment potential to businesses in his prefecture.
