The Lantern Festival took place on the morning of March 4th in the Ancient Town of Hội An, attracting a large number of locals and tourists.

In discussions with Australian Deputy Consul General in Hồ Chí Minh City Emma McDonald and the delegation from the Australian Government's Trade and Investment Commission during their visit and working session in Danang on the morning of March 6, the city's People's Committee leaders expressed their desire to continue receiving support in cooperating on digital human resource development, organizing training, exchanging information on cybersecurity, and online public services; at the same time, sharing experiences in smart city management, building a digital government, and protecting personal data.

Inauguration of the Training and Research Center for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence in Danang
The Robot and Artificial Intelligence Training and Research Center in Danang is located at the University of Science and Technology – University of Danang.
The center is built based on a flexible manufacturing model, integrating industrial robot stations, autonomous mobile robots (AMR), and an AI-based operational monitoring system, allowing the simulation of a smart factory's operational processes within a training environment.
This model enables the simulation of a smart factory's operational processes directly in the training environment, contributing to enhancing research capabilities and the practical application of technology in production.
It is expected that the center will train hundreds of students each year and will become an open space for research activities, technology transfer, and collaboration between the university and businesses in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Over the past 10 years (2015-2026), Danang Business Incubator (DNES) has built an extensive network of international cooperation, becoming a strategic partner of many organizations and startup support programs such as Swiss EP, Google, UNICEF, UNDP, along with expert programs from Australia, Israel, Switzerland, and others. Through these efforts, DNES has contributed to placing Danang on the global startup map of Startup Blink.
In the field of business incubation, DNES has supported more than 150 startups participating in incubation programs across various stages, with a total of approximately 50 million USD in successfully raised capital. Notably, with the FINC+ platform

<p style="text-align: justify;;line-height:30px">Chairman of the City People's Committee, Phạm Đức Ấn, emphasized the importance of the National Assembly's resolutions in addressing institutional bottlenecks, improving the legal framework, and creating an open and preferential environment to attract investment, identifying this as a key political task of the city.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;;line-height:30px">In the development strategy for 2026 and the subsequent period, the city prioritizes the development of sustainable economic ecosystems, focusing on key sectors such as high technology, digital transformation, logistics, urban infrastructure, finance, processing and manufacturing industries, high-tech agriculture, and medicinal plant industries. At the same time, the city is committed to providing the most favorable conditions for businesses to confidently invest and develop.</p>

This serves as a foundation for the city to make a breakthrough, achieve sustainable development, and affirm its role as the economic, social, and financial hub and growth pole of the Central – Central Highlands region.</p>

In the coming period, the city will focus on consolidating its organizational structure, perfecting operational mechanisms, implementing the "one-stop - single-window" model, while prioritizing the development of fintech, green finance, green transformation, trade finance, and digital assets in accordance with international standards. <p style="text-align: justify;;line-height:30px">At Đà Nẵng International Airport, flight VN157 from Hanoi carried the first three guests to 'ring in the New Year,' followed by a flight from Manila with five lucky passengers. Within the morning alone, approximately 1,200 tourists from seven countries (South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, etc.) landed, creating a lively atmosphere with the message 'Welcome to Đà Nẵng.'</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;;line-height:30px">On the morning of January 14, the City Women’s Union, in coordination with UN Women, held a workshop to launch the project "Promoting Gender Equality and Empowering Women to Build a Safe, Compassionate, and Climate-Resilient Đà Nẵng" for the 2026–2028 period.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;;line-height:30px">The project aims to enhance gender capacity and responsibility in preventing and responding to gender-based violence; promote an equitable and sustainable care economy transformation; and strengthen gender-responsive climate adaptation.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;;line-height:30px">Over the past 10 years, UN Women has consistently been a strategic partner, accompanying the City Women’s Union in promoting gender equality. In the upcoming period, the Union will continue to play a central role, effectively coordinating project implementation, contributing to positive and sustainable changes for women, children, and the community in Đà Nẵng.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;line-height:30px"><span style="text-justify:inter-ideograph">Permanent Deputy Secretary Nguyễn Đình Vĩnh welcomed the delegation and provided an overview of Danang's socio-economic development in 2025, along with the development goals and targets for 2026. <p style="text-align:justify;line-height:30px"><span style="text-justify:inter-ideograph">The Vice Chairman emphasized that administrative reform is a key task, in which science, technology, and digital transformation are identified as foundations for building a smart city and improving the quality of service for citizens and businesses. The city is actively reviewing and simplifying administrative procedures, reducing compliance time and costs, enhancing digitalization of records, providing electronic results, implementing procedures independent of administrative boundaries, while also applying various free utilities and humane service models at the Public Administration Service Centers.</span></p>

<p style="text-align:justify;line-height:30px"><span style="text-justify:inter-ideograph">On the afternoon of January 27, the Union of Friendship Organizations of the city, in coordination with the University of Education – University of Danang, the Danang city’s Vietnam – India Friendship Association, the Embassy of India in Vietnam and the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center, has organized the presentation contest "Exploring India: Land and People" to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the Republic of India (January 26, 1950 – January 26, 2026).</span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;line-height:30px"><span style="text-justify:inter-ideograph">The contest is not only an academic platform for students but also a meaningful cultural bridge, helping the younger generation in Danang to gain a deeper understanding of India's history, culture, and people, thereby fostering friendship, respect, and cooperation between the two nations.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;line-height:30px">Through this contest, Danang continues to affirm its proactive role in people-to-people diplomacy, enhancing cultural and educational exchanges, and contributing to the deepening of the Comprehensive <span style="text-justify:inter-ideograph">Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and India.</span></p>
