On April 10, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Central Party Committee member, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, Head of the Delegation of City National Assembly Delegates visited and congratulated the leaders and staff of the Consulate General of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Da Nang on the occasion of the Bunpimay New Year 2567 (according to the Lao calendar). Accompanying Mr. Quang were Deputy Chairman of the Municipal People's Council Tran Phuoc Son and Deputy Chairman of the Municipal People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong.
On behalf of the Party Committee, the government, and the people of the city, Secretary Nguyen Van Quang extended warm wishes to Mr. Souphanh Hadaoheuang, the Consul General of the Lao PDR in Da Nang, and his family, as well as all the officials and staff at the Consulate General, for a prosperous traditional New Year filled with warmth, health, and happiness. He also expressed hopes for the continued sustainable development of the special friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Da Nang and the provinces of Laos.
Secretary Quang noted that in recent years, cooperation between Da Nang and the provinces of Laos has consistently strengthened and developed based on the special traditional friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
Looking ahead, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee expressed hope that the Consulate General of Laos in Da Nang and Mr. Souphanh Hadaoheuang personally will continue to serve as a bridge for further enhancing friendship and cooperation between Da Nang and the provinces of Laos across all sectors.
Mr. Souphanh Hadaoheuang, Consul General of Laos in Da Nang expressed his gratitude for the beautiful wishes and sincere attention and assistance from the city's leaders to the Lao Consulate General in the past time, demonstrating the close bond and special friendship between the two sides.
Mr. Souphanh Hadaoheuang highly appreciated the visit and work in the Southern Laos provinces by the high-level delegation from the city of Da Nang led by Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Le Trung Chinh. This serves as evidence affirming the ongoing nurturing and development of the traditional friendship and special cooperation between Da Nang and the Southern Laos provinces, contributing to fostering mutual understanding.
Mr. Souphanh Hadaoheuang expressed confidence that the precious sentiments shared throughout the historical journey between the two Parties, two States, and the provinces of Laos and Da Nang will continue to strengthen, contributing to nurturing the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam.
